Apple Teacher iPad Starter Guide Reflection:
The Apple Teacher iPad Starter Guide iBook taught me many new and useful tools that the iPad features that can be easily used in a classroom with students, parents, colleagues, etc. It taught me the basics behind using the iPad since I am not very familiar with it yet. It also taught me how to multitask, explore, organize, manage, create, and share on this iPad. iPads feature many different tools that help teachers manage time and stay organized such as reminders, notes, email, saving web pages, sharing, air play, wireless printing, etc. I learned about different apps that are easy to use in the classroom to help engage students in lessons and help them stay productive. Some of these apps include the Camera (Time-lapse, Slow motion), Maps (Exploring cities in 3-D), iMovies, Clock (Stopwatch), News, iBooks, Notes (Sketch), and Speak Selection. These are just a few of the many apps that teachers and students can utilize. I learned that there are countless ways to use an iPad in the classroom to enhance students' learning. Technology is a great resource to incorporate in class lessons no matter what grade you teach. I cannot wait to continue exploring this iPad to find new and exciting ways to use it in my future classroom!
